The Biosphere II facility had several problems it needed solved. For this multi-phase project, we were faced with several environmental and climate-related challenges. Phase I of the job involved the installation of the controls for the energy center, while Phase II consisted of connecting all the controls for the Biodome’s ocean, desert, and rain forest experiences. Solving the environmental, political, and technical problems involved installing the new controls system while coordinating with all researchers to ensure that environmental data is easily available for researchers to access.
